Tony Petrello Leads Nabors Industries To Become Technological Leader

Tony Petrello has been in an executive position with Nabors Industries since the early 1990s. Over that time the company has radically transformed from near insolvency to one of the nation’s leading oil services firms.

Much of this is attributable to Petrello’s singular vision of turning the company into a powerhouse for technological development. Tony Petrello is the CEO of Nabors Industries.

One of the key ways in which Nabors Industries has differentiated itself in the highly competitive oil sector is through its focus on land-based drilling. While many of its competitors have focused solely on the lucrative offshore drilling market, Nabors Industries has focused intensely on the development of equipment that can efficiently extract so-called hard oil, which is often found in shale deposits, tar sands and other difficult locations.

Today, Nabors Industries is the number one operator of land-based rigging sites on the planet. With over 500 land drills currently operating, it has become, by far, the largest operator of shale deposit drilling sites in the United States. The company currently has the newest and most cutting-edge fleet of drilling equipment in the country. With billions of dollars spent in research and development every year, Nabors Industries is at the forefront of the development of new and highly innovative drilling technologies, which have been a key component in the ability to cheaply extract North American shale oil.

In addition to land-based drilling sites, Nabors Industries also owns and operates a large number of offshore platforms, including those operating at deep water sites within the Gulf of Mexico.

The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund – Equality for All

Michael lacey and Jim Larkin founded the village voice media in the year 1970 as an alternative weekly newspaper in Phoenix, Arizona. Lacey and Larkin were only journalist’s in the recent memories to be arrested and jailed for what they wrote and advertised. Although Village Voice media had had their fair share of legal battles, the tide flipped in 2007 when Lacey and Larkin were arrested for allegedly violating grand jury secrecy laws by Maricopa county sheriff Joe Arpaio .

This case provided a fitting bookend to their long careers with the company after the charges against them were dropped by county attorney Andrew Thomas. Lacey and Larkin later sued Arpaio, Thomas, and the special prosecutor Dennis Wilenchik for violation of their First Amendment Rights and abuse of power. In 2012 it was ruled by the 9th U.S. Circuit of appeals that there was no probable cause for the arrest because contrary to the claim, wilenchik didn’t actually consult a grand jury.

The case was later settled by Maricopa County and Lacey and Larkin received $3.75 million. This settlement money was used to establish the Frontera fund, which aimed at assisting the Hispanic community of Phoenix.

The Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund will also support groups that advocate for civil, human, and migrant rights as well as freedom of speech and civic participation throughout Arizona including on “la línea fronteriza” – the Mexican border.

One other organization that is closely related to the Lacey and Larkin Frontera fund is Border Angels also referred to as ‘Angeles de Frontera’ . Border angels is a non-profit charitable organization based in San-Diego that was founded by Enrique morones in 1986. Just like the Lacey and Larkin Frontera fund, its main focuses are the migrant rights, immigration reforms and prevention of immigrant deaths along the border. Border angels engages in community education and awareness programs that involve guided trips to the desert to place water along migrant crossing routes as well as to the border to learn about the history of US-Mexico border policy and experience the border fence firsthand.

It also touches on San Diego County’s immigrant population through various migrant outreach programs such as Day Laborer outreach and free legal assistance program held in their office every Tuesday. Border Angels works to dispel the various myths surrounding immigration in the United States and to bring back truth and justice.

Border Angels was active during the 2014 American immigration crisis, which escalated the number of unaccompanied children from Central America seeking entrance to the United States. Read more: Jim Larkin | Facebook

Border Angels distributed more than 45 tons of donated toys, books, food, and clothing for the migrants, and its volunteers provided a counterpoint to anti-immigration protesters who demonstrated and tried to block the arrival of tons of migrants arriving for processing in Murrieta, California, in Riverside County.

7 Day Challenge Using Wen By Chaz

We’ve all been subject to infomercials when we’ve stayed up late at night. I’m sure you have encountered the infomercial Wen By Chaz, at some point. A Sephora popular hair care product modeling beautiful women that sway their hair back and forth, and swear the product is magic in a bottle. Being tired of my dull, lifeless hair, I decided to put Wen By Chaz Cleansing Conditioner to the test. I had to see if the rumors were true and if it would turn my hair into thick, lustrous, TV model-looking locks.

In case you’ve never heard of Wen By Chaz, they’re an all-natural brand of hair care products that contain shampoo, conditioner, and styling treatment all into one. The brand boasts about the product being used on any type of hair condition. For my dull, thin, and fine hair, I decided to go with the Fig version cleansing conditioner. http://www.ebay.com/bhp/wen-hair-care

On the day that I started my Wen hair treatment, my hair was dull, a little oily, and had hairspray residue weighing it down. On my first shampooing, I scrubbed my scalp and hair with my fingertips. My hair felt thicker with Wen than any other shampoo. After blow drying my hair, I noticed that my ends were still dry, roots remained a little oily but, had a subtle shine.

Throughout the remainder of the week, I used Wen By Chaz as directed on the label. During the first few days, I noticed that my hair was more limp than usual and the curls didn’t last long when I styled my hair. I finished the experiment on day seven. The conclusion that I came to is, that the product does work and made a noticeable change. I realized that the product takes several days to clean your scalp and rid your strands of build-up. By the end of the week, my style lasted all day. There was a noticeable difference in my hair – looked and felt fuller, shiny, no drier ends, or oiliness to deal with. I recommend Wen By Chaz cleansing products. If you’re on the fence about trying this product – jump over – your owe it to your hair! View the Wen Wikipedia page for more information.
